New Wave Holiday
December 8, 5-9 pm
South Shore Market
Grab your sleigh, your favorite reindeer, and your best pau hana buddies and head down to South Shore Market for a very special New Wave Friday Holiday this Friday, December 8. For our holiday edition we're getting downright festive and will featuring head-bobbing tunes and entertainment by Fresh Preps, Bryson Andres, and Aidan James as well as a host of free holiday activations for keiki. For adults, you can kick back and wash away the work week with craft cocktails poured by our friends from REAL a gastropub. Did we mention that in addition to the special events and discounts within the dozens of South Shore Market stores, we're also hosting Art+Flea? Plus, when you spent $100 at Ward Village this week, you'll get a $10 gift certificate to redeem at South Shore Market.
PSST: If that wasn't enough, we're also serving up a free scoop of of ice cream from Lucy Lab Creamery or Via Gelato (hey, it's the holidays and you've earned it) but you'll need to RSVP in advance.
Holiday Courtyard Cinema

In partnership with Hawaii International Film Festival, we've thrilled to continue our monthly film screening in the courtyard of the iconic IBM Building. Because we're relishing the holidays (and we have a soft spot in our heart for Will Ferrell as Buddy) we're excited to be screening Elf on December 14th. As a free, family friendly event Elf has been a fixture in our holiday movie repertoire for years and is sure-fire way to kickstart the holiday spirit. While tickets to Courtyard Cinema are free, they do need to be reserved online. Don't miss out on this epic holiday evening, book your tickets now.
Holiday Kona Nui Nights
December 20, IBM Courtyard

We're ringing in the season with on December 20 at the IBM Courtyard with a very special Kona Nui Nights. As a monthly event, Kona Nui has become a staple in our community and serves to perpetuate Hawaiian culture and language in a family friendly setting. This free event is going to be headlined by Kupaoa and Mark Yamanaka, who'll be filling the crisp air with classic Hawaiian tunes. Is there a better way to spend a Wednesday evening just days before Christmas? We think not. RSVP to reserve seats for your family today.
Santa's Beach House
Now – December 24
Level 3 Ward Entertainment Center
What holiday is complete without a pic with old Saint Nick? Take your keiki to have their photo taken with Santa at his beach house and create holiday memories that will live forever. Santa will be posted up on Level 3 of the Ward Entertainment Center near the theater, reindeer were left with the valet. Photo packages begin at $23 and includes a $20 Shutterfly Promo Card with every package. Santa will be at his beach house Monday to Saturday, Noon to 8:30pm, Sunday, Noon to 6pm, Christmas Eve, 9:00 am to 6 pm and pet night is every Tuesday from 5:00pm to 8:30pm.
Senior Giving Tree

Throughout Ward Village
While we all loving unwrapping a present under the tree with loved ones, some of our elders aren't able to celebrate the holiday with their loved ones. But there's something you can do to help brighten their holiday: Head down Catholic Charities' Senior Giving Tree and purchase a gift. Here's how it works: 1) Select an ornament from a Senior Giving Tree at either Santa's Beach House, Bed Bath & Beyond (Ward Centre) or at T.J. Maxx at Ward Village Shops. 2) Purchase the gift listed on the ornament at any Ward Village store. 3) Give back to your community and seniors in need. 4) Feel good about giving back during the holidays! That's the true spirit of the season.
Honolulu City Lights Trolley Tour
Now – December 30
If there's one thing that's sure to snap you into the holiday spirit, it's the City Lights Trolley Tour. This much beloved tour of the city takes you through the heart of the Honolulu where you can marvel at the homes and buildings, adorned in their finest holiday decorations. From Ward Village, the 30-minute ride will take you through Kaka'ako and the capital before heading back downtown. Purchase tickets online here for $7.75 per person. Children 3 and under ride free.
