5 Ways to Fall for Fall in Ward Village

Fall is in the air in and this autumn is going to be one to remember. Before the controlled chaos of the holidays takes hold, we're making a point to celebrate the season by opening up ourselves to new experiences and making the most of all the happenings here at Ward Village. That's right, we're stepping out of our daily routine and making the most of Village Life. And this season, that means attending the grand opening of Ward Village's South Shore Market, hamming it up with friends at REAL's trivia night, catching an outdoor movie, and spending Halloween in the Village with your family. It's truly going to be a season to remember.

On October 13, we'll be showing the acclaimed film, The Man Who Knew Infinity, based on the amazing true life of Srinivasa Ramanujan, largely regarded as one of the greatest mathematicians of the late 19th and 20th century. In addition, on November 10th, we'll be screening Mele Murals, a documentary chronicling graffiti culture in Hawaii and its ability to connect a new generation of Native Hawaiians to their collective history. The Grand Opening of South Shore Market

November 11th, 12th & 13th

For months, there's been a buzz brewing over Ward Village's latest retail and restaurant concept, South Shore Market. With 17 new stores and restaurants set to be unveiled on November 11 the city is chomping at the bit. Located on the corner of Auahi and Queen, the 25,000-square-foot market will house local retailers like Eden In Love, Salvage Public, Cameron Hawaii, MORI by Art and Flea, and more. Inspired by the likes of New York's Chelsea Market and Los Angeles' Anaheim Packing District, South Shore Market's spirit is built upon the energy of the thriving art and cultural scene in Kaka'ako and will include a series of interactive public art installations and communal tables. To be sure, this new concept is changing the way the city will eat, shop, and play and you won't want to miss the grand opening, which runs from November 11 to 13.
