HONOLULU (Oct. 22, 2015) – Ward Village®, a master planned neighborhood being revitalized by The Howard Hughes Corporation® (NYSE: HHC) today announced two fun and easy ways for guests to get a head start on their holiday shopping – the property's annual charity shopping event, Festival of Giving, and All You Can Tote, a seasonal bag promotion.

"With a diverse mix of local small businesses and national retailers, Ward Village is a one-of-a-kind shopping destination for everyone on your holiday list," said Heidi Kuia, Senior Marketing & Events Coordinator at Ward Village. "This November, both Festival of Giving and All You Can Tote will give shoppers a chance to find great gifts while enjoying special deals and rewards property-wide."

During Festival of Giving, held Nov. 6 to 8, attendees will enjoy a handful of perks, including a gift-with- purchase, free giveaways, social media scavenger hunt, prize wheel, and more while raising funds for local community groups and organizations. With the purchase of a $10 Festival of Giving Passport, 100 percent of the proceeds will directly benefit participating charity groups. Passports can be purchased ahead of time from participating groups or on-property at Ward Warehouse and Ward Centre, now through Nov. 8 at select merchant locations. A few of the exclusive discounts Passport holders receive this year include:

  • Buy one, get one at Jamba Juice, Menchie's Frozen Yogurt, Dairy Queen and Zpizza
  • 20 percent off storewide at Bed Bath & Beyond, Hakubundo, CHAI Studio, THEFACESHOP, Misfortune Hawaii, Downtown GifThings and more
  • 50 percent off at Crazy Shirts Factory Outlet, Big City Diner, Rix Island Wear, Ocean Queen and more
  • 20 to 25 percent off food purchases at Mexico Cantina, Kincaid's & Ryan's Grill
  • 15 percent off storewide, including sale items at The Sports Authority

Festival of Giving Passport holders will also receive a $15 gift certificate to Kincaid's or Ryan's Grill at the gift-with-purchase redemption booth at Ward Warehouse from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, located between Pa'ina Café and T&C Surf.

New this holiday shopping season, Ward Village is introducing its All You Can Tote bag promotion, which will offer exclusive discounts to guests during Black Friday and Small Business Saturday. Starting Monday, Nov. 9, customers who make a purchase of $10 or more from a participating merchant will receive an All You Can Tote reusable tote bag while supplies last by showing proof of purchase at participating merchants.
