Fall is in the air in and this autumn is going to be one to remember. Before the controlled chaos of the holidays takes hold, we're making a point to celebrate the season by opening up ourselves to new experiences and making the most of all the happenings here at Ward Village. That's right, we're stepping out of our daily routine and making the most of Village Life. And this season, that means attending the grand opening of Ward Village's South Shore Market, hamming it up with friends at REAL's trivia night, catching an outdoor movie, and spending Halloween in the Village with your family. It's truly going to be a season to remember.
Kick off fall properly this year and have a ghoulishly good time with the entire family by celebrating Halloween here at Ward Village. Not only will the entire village by abuzz with plenty of treats and costumes, but it'll all be going down in a safe family-friendly environment. Speaking of the perfect date-night getaway, how about catching an outdoor movie in the heart of the city? On the second Thursday of every month at the IBM Building, we screen an open-air movie for the public. Remember: admission is free but seats must be reserved. On October 13, we'll be showing the acclaimed film, The Man Who Knew Infinity, based on the amazing true life of Srinivasa Ramanujan, largely regarded as one of the greatest mathematicians of the late 19th and 20th century. In addition, on November 10th, we'll be screening Mele Murals, a documentary chronicling graffiti culture in Hawaii and its ability to connect a new generation of Native Hawaiians to their collective history. Courtyard Cinema starts at 6:00pm.
