HomeAid Hawaii
We’re passionate about building homes here in Ward Village for the community, but we’re also passionate about giving back to those less fortunate. That’s why we’ve partnered with HomeAid Hawaii, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides outreach and aid to combat homelessness. In 2015, Ward Village Foundation provided the start-up grant for the organization, with additional private funds raised by founding board members. Today, HomeAid is currently working on developing a “Kauhale” tiny homes project to provide shelter and foster a sense of community to formerly houseless people in Kalaeloa.
