Overview

Join Ward Village and Hawaiʻi Food Bank in collecting canned and dry goods to help those in need from December 1 – 24.

Food donation bins are available in the following buildings throughout Ward Village:

• WAIEA
• ANAHA
• AE‘O
• KE KILOHANA
• ‘A‘ALI‘I
• KŌ‘ULA

Hawaiʻi Food Bank Donation Guidelines:

Prepackaged Foods-Non-Perishable

Condition
• Unopened original container with labels that are legible and show what the product is, ingredients, net weight, and manufacture

Handling and Storage
• Cool, dry clean area

Non-Acceptable Conditions
• Opened, punctured, or damaged packaging resulting in the loss of the sanitary barrier protection
• Soiled labels

Prepackaged Non-Foods

Condition
• Unopened original packaging with labels that are legible and show what the product is, ingredients, net weight, and manufacture

Handling and Storage
• Cool, dry clean area

Non-Acceptable Conditions
• Glass that is broken or chipped
• Soiled labels

Note: Non-food items should be boxed separately from edible products.
