Overview

Ward Village has partnered with Friends of the Library of Hawaiʻi, Muʻumuʻu Library by Nā Mea Hawaiʻi, Logos Bookstore, and Village Books & Music to host live children’s book readings at the Ward Centre courtyard on August 12 and 13. From 10am to 12pm each day, little ones can listen in as local authors and librarians read aloud. Each morning, you’re invited to snap a photo in front of the photo wall, purchase a book from one of our participating partners, and enjoy light snacks and beverages!

Saturday, August 12:
- 10:00 am – Leiolani Faurot of Muʻumuʻu Library by Nā Mea Hawaiʻi
- 10:30 am – Gabrielle Ahuli’i Holt presented by Village Books and Music
- 11:00 am – Dawn O’Brien presented by Logos Bookstore
- 11:30 am – Vance Morimoto presented by Village Books and Music

Sunday, August 13:
