Kewalo Harbor

Home to a mix of recreational, commercial and charter vessels, Kewalo Harbor — the 30-acre harbor fronting Ward Village — is an excellent place for any water enthusiast to sail, fish, dive, and more.

The Ala Moana Boulevard Pedestrian overpass (“overpass”) is a State of Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation (“State DOT”) safety project completed in 2025. This mauka-makai oriented land bridge links the paths on either side of Ala Moana Boulevard to provide pedestrians and bicyclists a safer way to cross Ala Moana Boulevard. Victoria Ward, Limited donated the land for the project and financially contributed to the bridge design and environmental documentation. The State DOT was responsible for the construction and completion of the overpass. The Ward Village Owners Association, the Ward Village master community association, is responsible for the management, maintenance and upkeep of the overpass and any costs associated therewith.
