Trust for Public Land

On April 22, Earth Day, Ward Village was excited to sponsor and participate in “A Day on the Land” with our community partner, the Trust for Public Land.  The service day consisted of local volunteers including many of our own team members, gathering to remove invasive plants and restore native species at Kahuku Point — a stunning coastal sand dune and one of the last remaining intact coastal strand habitats on O‘ahu.  As part of TPL’s nationwide Community Impact Day, “A Day on the Land” offered participants a special opportunity to learn about the habitat and history of this unique natural landscape.
